The Eastern PA EMS Council, utilizing funding allocated to our Rural EMS Education Program, has identified centrally located venues within our rural counties to further afford the ease and accessibility for continuous EMS Education programs. With an emphasis on the following required EMS clinical and federally mandated programs, these programs are available to our EMS Practitioners operating within the geographical locations identified by the EMS Council as part of the rural education program:
Emergency Vehicle Operator Course program and EMSVO Courses
Annual PPE Fit Testing program
Epi-Pen, CPAP, and Narcan Training
Community Programs
Hands Only CPR
Stop the Bleed
*Note Agency specific programs may have additional requirements in order to meet applicable federal, state, or local regulations.
These low, and / or no cost programs will be presented by program specific subject matter experts. Some programs may require the attendee’s home EMS Agency engagement, specifically defining operational protocol and / or agency policies relevant to the content of the program. These programs are made possible via funding provided through PA Act 93, Rural Funding for EMS Agencies and Practitioners, as defined by Center for Rural Pennsylvania.
